Botox

Botox is an injectible substance that can eliminate many of your fine lines and wrinkles. Much of facial wrinkling is caused by the contraction of your facial muscles. By injecting Botox into certain areas, contraction of nonessential muscles can be stopped and the associated wrinkles will disappear. It is most appropriate for wrinkles of the forehead, at teh top of the nose, and at the corners of the eyes.

There is also a role for Botox in the treatment of excess sweating and migraine headaches.
