Male Breast Reduction

Gynecomastia is the benign enlargement of the male breast. There are numerous causes of this enlargement and it can be related to medications drugs, an inbalance of hormones,weight gain, cancer, or it can be for no definite reason. There are several ways to improve the appearance and it depends on the size of the breast.

The breasts can be liposuctioned or the excess tissue can be cut out. Sometimes a combination of the two modalities is used. If the breasts are large enough that they have become droopy, then typically some of the excess skin and breast tissue will need to be cut out.
